Interview with Shakhtar's Anatoliy Tymoshchuk after the first leg:

Were you satisfied by the score in the first leg? The result 1:0 after first leg is success for Legia. We could see that Shakhtar had a lot of opportunities to score, but they were failed. I think that a victory in first match could influe on balance like 60 to 40 as Shakhtar's priority. But from the other side, Legia will do its best to score homešš that's why we should forget about our victory in Donetsk and play for victory in the match abroad in Warsaw. The rival will be very motivated for this match and they will have a huge help from numbers of supporters. We could be very focused and concentrated and do our best to qualify to Champions League.
What did you think of Legia's play as a team? Legia from first minutes showed that they are very organized in defense. We knew possibilities of our rival and we knew that they will play primarily for defense not as attacking team. From my point of view Legia played in Donetsk better as ever before we saw some last matches of Legia and they didn't show such level of playing football. I thinks that an aim of possible participation in Champions League gives them additional forces to fight, but they understood they Shakhtar is a strong rival and preferred to play defensive football, not attacking.
Which Legia player impressed you the most? I could estimate a team as unity I don't prefer to mark any players because from my opint of view Legia is strong team as team as number of players, not by single players. I think it's not a team of stars, so they are looking for chances as a collective.
What do you expect from the game in Warsaw? The result of the first match in Donetsk says that Shakhtar has a bit priority before the second leg in Warsaw. We are not going to play for draw or to take this result we are going to win in Warsaw we will do our best for it. We are very motivated to get a success and to qualify to Champions League. Our aim is not to get a ball in our goals and to score in first minutes in Warsaw's match.
