Tottenham vs Bodo/Glimt Betting Preview
We’ve arrived at the semi-final stage of the UEFA Europa League and things are really starting to heat up. There are just four teams remaining in the race to Bilbao and while everyone has their opinion on who will make it to the big dance, only two of them will actually be able to get it done. Today, we’ll be taking a look at what promises to be a fascinating first leg clash between Tottenham Hotspur and Bodo/Glimt.
The Europa League is a competition that deserves a lot more respect than it gets, and in our view, that much goes without saying. Some of the best clubs in Europe have competed in the UEL in the last few years alone and this time around, we’ve got a wonderful blend between some big name teams and a few that have managed to go on great underdog runs to reach this point.

In this semi-final, we see more of the latter than the former. While Spurs certainly have some name value within the ranks of English football, they don’t have the silverware to back it up – at least, not in the last few decades. Ange Postecoglou seems to have alienated the masses in North London but at the very least, he’s kept them in with a shout of winning a European trophy, which could completely turn their fortunes around.
Then, you’ve got Bodo/Glimt. The plucky team that simply wouldn’t go away. This Norwegian side have surpassed the expectations of pretty much every fan, pundit and even player that have watched them play this season. They are the definition of what hard work and determination look like, and anyone who isn’t a Tottenham supporter will probably be hoping that they have one or two more tricks up their sleeve.
So whether you’re interested in melbet betting company or you just want to know a bit more about this game, we’re here to break down what we expect to see go down in the capital.
When Tottenham really get going, they are able to press in a way that strikes fear into a lot of teams – but on the flip side, Bodo/Glimt are organised, they’re compact, and they’re going to be tough to break down. Spurs will really need to rely on the fans to get them through this one because once they arrive in Norway, things are going to get hostile in a hurry.

They need to build up as big of a lead as they possibly can, but we don’t think they have the resources or confidence to really stick it to the visitors. It’s actually the opposite, in truth. Tottenham should be able to edge past Bodo/Glimt and secure a win but we don’t think they’re going to blow them out of the water.
This will come down to the wire with either a late winner or a real surge for a late equaliser – but either way, we do think Big Ange will cook up a game plan that gets them through the first half of this challenge.
Official prediction: Tottenham 1-0 Bodo/Glimt
