Polish Ekstraklasa league football returns this weekend with several interesting matches on the books. On Friday second place Korona Kielce will travel to third placed Lech Poznan. Korona is the only undefeated team left in the league and have won four of their last five games.
On Saturday first placed Slask Wroclaw will attempt to hold on to top spot when they take on troubled GKS Belchatow. Last season's second placed team have won three in a row, but the last time that happened they lost the next two.
The match promising the highest emotions is the Lodz derby. Widzew will host LKS on Monday night, however, no away fans will be allowed to attend. Widzew have enjoyed a good start to the season losing for the first time in the last round away to Ruch Chorzow. However they have drawn 5 times which must be a slight worry. Although LKS picked up their second win last time out, the next few matches look very difficult. Following the derby they will host Wisla Krakow and then travel to Kielce.
