against the Czech Republic, the Polish team know a loss would put them
in a very difficult situation. While the Russians know that a win will
seal a spot in the quarter-finals.
The last meeting between the two sides was a friendly match in August 22, 2007 in Moscow. It ended in a 2-2 draw.
